5 months

Simon is 5 months old today. He has gone from our cross-eyed, chicken legged infant to a smiling, chubby baby boy. It feels like we have known him forever, yet it feels like he just got here.

To celebrate this day, he tried his first taste of carrots.....



He seemed to like them. Luckily, he was using his ugliest bib so I didn't mind the carrot stains too much.

The big highlight of the day was the purchase of the Jolly Jumper. We had been eying them for a while, but finally decided that Crazy Legs deserved one, so off we went to Toys R Us. Once it was assembled, I think we had more fun watching him than he had using it. He staggered around for a bit and did a few impressive twirls. We were cracking up, which in turn made him laugh and smile.
