Not so jolly jumper

I thought it would be easier to get him to enjoy the Jolly Jumper. I assumed it would come naturally, and that within a few minutes of trying it out he would be happily jumping and twirling away. Imagine my surprise when, after 2 days and multiple attempts, he still just dangles there. He looks up, he looks down, he leans back, but he does not jump. Or look remotely amused.



The government has assured me that his birth certificate will be here on Thursday, so today we are going to get his passport pictures taken. I am curious how they will take it, since he can't hold himself up yet. It should be interesting!
